In the desert landscape that remained after a nuclear war, humans desperately look for water, food and fuel. Absolute sovereign Immortan Joe keeps everybody under his cruel thumb with his army. In this whirling post-apocalyptic action movie, the escaped prisoner Max Rockatansky is fleeing from Joe with a handful of slaves that Furiosa has freed. Tom Hardy succeeds Mel Gibson as Mad Max in this fourth adventure in the series by George Miller. Tom Holkenborg/Junkie XL was responsible for the soundtrack of this award- and praise-winning film.
