When Kees (17) decides to do a language course in Marseille, her mother takes her there. During this 'final’ trip, Kees dreams of autonomous adventures, while mummy dear is struggling to cope with their changing relationship.
The impetuous Kees (17) takes her first steps to adulthood and decides to do a language course in Marseille. She particularly wants to break free from her mother, who suffocates her and keeps her from having her own adventures. But she does need her to take her to the south of France. During this trip, they try to enjoy themselves, but implicit annoyances and the approaching farewell are in the air. A short drama about letting go and the complexity of a mother-daughter relationship.
