Sympathise with Lenno (10), a hyperactive boy who does not understand why people are often angry with him. He finds solace in his angelfish, an animal that is said to be aggressive, but Lenno does not think so. Winner IDFA Award for Best Children’s Documentary.
"Lenno, Lenno, don’t make a fool of yourself!" How often do people tell Lenno this? The world through the eyes of an impetuous child, shot in an equally impetuous style. He boxes with his twin brother Teun, cries when he hurts himself, runs away from criticism and is happy with the cool colouring pictures his mother gives him. Lenno thinks it is stupid when other people say he has got a problem. As a boy, his caring but Spartan father was no angel either. Now he wants his son to do better. They often clash, but Lenno can also be very sweet and warm. Together with his angelfish, which at the same time is a sounding board and mirror for his struggles, he tries to find his niche in the family and society.
