When, on a sailing trip on the ‘Lazy Duck’ in Columbia, Durdana, Peter Putker’s wife, is murdered, he claims to be innocent. According to the husband, she was killed by pirates when they raided their boat. In this documentary, Putker extensively pleads his case in a Dutch courtroom. What happens when the authorities decide to press charges against you and you as a citizen have to prove your innocence, without having any conclusive evidence?
