An aged florist reflects on her life in this animation movie. She has given a lot and sealed many a romance with her bouquets, but will she ever receive flowers herself?
Emily is eighty years old and has been in her flower stall all her life. With her old, trembling fingers, she still cuts the stems and curls the ribbons. Lovers come and go, but Emily has always stayed single. At the end of the day, she always withdraws into her world: a botanical garden at the foot of a rolling hill. The garden of life. Realising she will not be able to tend to her garden for much longer, she starts to look back. She is always the eccentric loner, fleeing to her garden whenever someone comes closer. Who will be her final customer?
