Documentary about Kees Momma, who suffers from autism and has been living with his parents all his life. By now, he is 57 and his parents will not live eternally. How will Kees manage?
In the sequel to the documentary Only the Best for Our Son (2014), the future of the protagonist, a grown-up with autism, is still equally insecure and unclear. His fragile parents, going on to ninety, bought a house for him across the street. But if Kees moves there, does it fit into his mother’s life mission to keep him happy at all times and protect him from the stress and contingencies of the harsh outside world? Inevitably, Kees will take dramatic decisions about his own future.
