Somewhere in a desolate area in southern Europe, a young couple collects deceased pets and run-over animals, to accompany them on their last journey to the animal crematorium. Each animal is lovingly treated, because the two companions want to do something in return in this animal-unfriendly world. But then they run over an animal themselves. Will this incident herald the end of their job and their relationship? Feature debut of visual artist Janis Rafa. Her drama is named after the infectious disease causing high fatality among dogs in southern Europe.
