The life of a Taliban fighter and his younger brother, and all the tensions between radical convictions and ordinary human desires.

Samim (23), a devoted fighter and follower of Taliban ideology that has determined his fate since birth, dreams of martyrdom. His everyday reality revolves around controlling traffic in the occupied city of Kabul, and his life as a husband and brother. Samim's younger brother Rafi (14) looks up to him with admiration, while going through the confusion of adolescence. Slowly, Rafi will lose his youthful playfulness and step into a world shaped for decades by military intervention and the radicalisation it has produced.
