Using behaviour therapy, child psychologist Joan Sträter tries to stop the derailing violence between the 14-year-old twin brothers Alaa and Adil. Where most people would rather look away, she observes. Not only the brothers admit the camera deep into their private domain, the psychologist does too. Images of Joan, singing relaxed during a choir rehearsal are intercut with images of a violent war game that ends in a fierce escalation between the brothers. Will Joan manage to prevent this from happening again?
