Sing-a-long version of the film musical based on the eponymous, successful TV series that Annie M.G. Schmidt and composer Harry Bannink made in 1965. The story is set in a tidy street in a 1960s setting. Here, nurse Klivia holds sway in a nursing home over fidgety Jet, 'the engineer' and the quarrelling Bertus and Bobby. The boisterous company is a thorn in the flesh of the peevish neighbour Boordevol. With considerable effort, he vainly tries to evict Klivia and her rowdies with the umpteenth lawsuit.
