With their ever rejuvenating audiences, Normaal, the band that gave the rural Netherlands a face, has been on stage for almost forty years. But now the members are of pensionable age. After every gig, singer Bennie Jolink is shattered for a day and one of the other members is seriously ill. For how long will they be able to sustain the høken, brekken and angoan? Serious interviews and raw archive footage, drenched in beer and music. The documentary breathes an intimate atmosphere because the director and frontman of the band have known each other for more than forty years.
