Documentary about three French-Moroccan brothers who were arrested in 1973 by the Moroccan secret police and seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. They were never accused of anything, but were locked up without trial in complete isolation and darkness. Denied medical and physical care, they had to survive in the stark climate in their cell. After more than eighteen years they were suddenly released. Almost blind, exhausted and terribly emaciated, they arrived by plane in Paris. In this film the brothers talk about the background to their sudden incarceration and how they managed to survive in the barren conditions.
