The hour of the wolf is the hour when night passes into dawn, the hour when spirits and demons rage, the time of insomniacs. This inspired sculptor Lotta Blokker to create a group of bronze figures in all stages of life. The documentary not only shows the creative process, but also the intimacy of Blokker’s own wolf hours, when she can be torn by doubt. 'Every sculpture made with feeling shows us the artist, not the sitter,' is the motto taken from Oscar Wilde.
