Short documentary about the struggle of Indian women against the construction of a new asbestos factory in Chainpur, a small village in the Indian province of Bihar.
Far beyond the outskirts of the big city, in the untouched village of Chainpur in the Indian province of Bihar, constructions are underway for a large asbestos factory. While everyone in the West is aware of the hazards of asbestos, the production and processing just continue in other parts of the world. The women in Chainpur are strongly opposed to the new factory, knowing that it is their men, fathers and sons who have to work there at huge health risks.
