When a woman is found dead at home in Rotterdam ten years after her death, two friends and a group of locals launch a campaign against loneliness. Documentary about citizenship, solidarity and community.
Without anyone having missed her, Bep de Bruin was found dead at home in Rotterdam, ten years after her decease. For Ada (59) and Wilma (70), this is the reason to volunteer for the council campaign against loneliness. Together they pay home visits, looking for souls that can use help or an attentive ear. But the boundary between caring and meddling occasionally turns out to be vague. This results in some painful and awkward moments in this documentary, and in just as many affectionate and light-hearted scenes.
