Director David de Jongh, son of photographer Eddy de Jongh, looks for the stories his father carefully kept secret during his lifetime. As the only member of his Jewish family, Eddy miraculously survived World War II. Photography became a way to keep going after these traumatic experiences. For example, he brought adventure and beauty to a life that at the same time was overshadowed by conflict.
