In the film sequel to the successful TV series, bosom friends Dunya and Desie go to Morocco, looking for Desie's father and for answers to big existential questions.
In the film sequel to the successful TV series, bosom friends Dunya and Desie find themselves at a crossroads in their lives. The cheerful design of the credits still shows the young girls' carefree world. But they have finished high school now and have to decide how to organise their future lives. Their friendship is under fire as a result of the objections that Dunya's Moroccan parents have to the libertine Desie, but also due to big dilemmas: Dunya is told that a meeting has been arranged in Morocco with a future husband and Desie turns out to be pregnant - the most obvious action is an abortion. The two friends find each other again in Morocco and their joint trip teaches them a lot about the values of friendship and family, as well as respect for the goals in life the girls choose for themselves. The roles in this comic and touching road movie are played by the same actors as in the series, Maryam Hassouni and Eva van de Wijdeven.
