In this short drama, a lonely elderly woman has new neighbours. She misses the friendly, former lady next door and has trouble with the new family and their different habits.
Helena is an elderly woman who since her husband’s decease goes through life lonely and seemingly grouchy. Recently, she got new neighbours, with children and different habits. She won’t have anything to do with them. But Elijah, their youngest son with his engaging smile, is immediately very fond of Helena’s little dog. Although Helena does not particularly like children, he does pluck her heart strings. This drama exposes our way of thinking about ‘the other’.
