360º Virtual Reality drawing of the view of the centre of Amsterdam that Jan Rothuizen made from the 'Room on the Roof', the small tower on top of the Bijenkorf department store.
Step into the first Virtual Reality drawing by Jan Rothuizen, the artist who reaped fame with his drawings in de Volkskrant and other media, in which he sets down his detailed observations of a certain place in word and image. In this interactive video, the viewer is taken along to 'Room on the Roof', the small tower on top of the Bijenkorf department store in Amsterdam that Rothuizen moved into as artist in residence. From here, the draughtsman made a 360º Virtual Reality drawing of his view of the centre of the Dutch capital. Drawing Room toys with the question what virtual reality means: can it be an artwork in itself?
