Coco does not have a clue what to do with her life. Until her mother Elisabeth turns out to be seriously ill. Coco moves in with her and this launches a black-comic family episode.
Coco is a chaotic young woman, trapped in a hopeless affair with a recently divorced fifty-something. When she chances upon her eccentric mother in the street who tells her she is going to die, Coco sees a new purpose in life. She moves in with her mother to take care of her. This kick-starts a painful series of misunderstandings, with two women expressing their insecurity and impotence in completely opposite ways. Coco: "There are mothers and daughters who embrace each other." Mother, surprised: "Is that really what you want?" Tragicomic family drama full of recognisable absurdism.
