Part from a series of montage films by Van Gasteren about observation and interpretation in watching film. For this film, Van Gasteren made shots from a balcony in the Sardinian village of Teulade at various intervals. In the film, he `directs' the passers-by as it were, proceeding to ask himself: From which corner do I imagine what I see? Or do I see what I imagined?
