Eleven-year-old Jimmy lives with his mother in a luxurious house in Africa. When he ends up at the market, he receives an assignment that teaches him a lot about the country and also saves lives.
Eleven-year-old Jimmy lives with his mother in Africa, in a nice house with a lot of computer games, but little human attention. When his mother forgets to pick him up from school, he walks home across the city. Downtown, he is robbed by streetwise Charita. Just when they are bickering, they discover a strange white giraffe who threatens to be sold to the highest bidder. The giraffe that, it turns out, can speak begs Jimmy for help. After liberating him, Jimmy receives a mysterious amulet and another assignment: Two tribes are on the verge of starting a war for a plot of land called Pareo Rock and Jimmy has to prevent it. Along with his new friend, Jimmy embarks on a special journey to Pareo Rock. In dream sequences, the giraffe advises him. Along the way, Jimmy finds out that not all children lead the sheltered life he leads. 'You don't get any pocket money?,' he asks Charita. 'The only pocket money I get comes from other people's pockets.'
Colourful youth film with children as its heroes. Brimming with fitting film music and wonderful special effects.
