Historical drama, based on true events, about how journalist Hans Knoop, chief editor of the weekly Accent, which was associated with De Telegraaf, gets personally involved in the hunt for the still unconvicted war criminal Pieter Menten. An article about the sale of Menten’s art collection and an Israeli reader with special knowledge get the ball rolling: in World War II, Menten was responsible for various murders. But the immensely rich, powerful Menten is not an easy prey.
