De stilte van Rothko

Last year, the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag presented a retrospective exhibition of Mark Rothko (1903-1970), known for his immense and intense colour planes. Filmmaker Marjoleine Boonstra tranquilly meanders through the life and work of the American artist, rectifying a few persistent misconceptions, but leaving the mystery intact.
