De piraten van hiernaast

Director: Pim van Hoeve
The arrival of the Donderbus pirate family turns the sleepy Zandwijk aan Zee upside down. The chaos is complete when their treasure chest is stolen and they pick up their old pirate life again.
The dreary coastal town of Zandwijk aan Zee is in an uproar after the arrival of the swashbuckling, rum-drinking Donderbus pirate family. While the dull local residents disapprove of their watch shark and pet octopus, eleven-year-old Michiel, despite their differences, strikes up a friendship with pirate kid Billy. But he threatens to lose his new friend when nemesis Knokige Krelis suddenly appears. Along with girl next door Elizabeth, the two boys decide to make a stand against the most dangerous pirate of the sea.
