Silent short film about the vicissitudes on a film set. The actor that plays Pierrot is in love with the actress Pierrette, but the latter scornfully keeps him at bay. For the film they are shooting, they enact their own triangular relationship (Pierrette's lover being the third party involved) and just like in the film, Pierrot seems to go and shoot himself. The film presents a fascinating glimpse of the doings on a Dutch film set around 1920.
