Sixteen-year-old Maarten likes to loiter with friends in the park after school, listens to music and loves to play computer games. And he goes to dancing classes as often as possible, where he prefers to dance with Roxanne. Only a few people know Maarten is suffering from a severe metabolic disorder that will shorten his life. Despite his disease and his worried parents, the teenager thoroughly enjoys life in this drama. But when his body increasingly plays up, it dawns on him that he may have to give up dancing.
