Daan durft

Director: Mari Sanders
Nine-year-old Daan grows enthusiastic about swimming when he finds his mother’s swimming medals in the attic. His teacher encourages him to join the swimming club, but his mother reacts reserved. Due to heart problems, her own swimming dream turned into a nightmare, and she first wants to make sure Daan does not have the same condition. But Daan can’t wait. He starts realising his own dream: participating in the Youth Olympic Games. Can he convince his parents? A drama about letting go of fears and grabbing ambitions.
