After a row with his father (played by his real father), haggler Amir (Golden Calf winner Shahine El-Hamus) falls for the appeal of crypto. An entrepreneur deludes him with visions of financial independence, but this comes with a price.
Golden Calf winner Shahine El-Hamus plays the leading role in this family drama, directed by his brother Shady El-Hamus. We see him as Amir, who delivers food for the Mexican restaurant run by his father Omar (Sabri El-Hamus). Business is bad, especially because Omar sticks to traditional ideas that no longer suit the changing neighbourhood around him. When Amir ends up in a meet-up of a young and charismatic crypto entrepreneur (Minne Koole), he thinks he has found the solution to their financial problems.
