Cat Meets Dog

In his characteristic, loose style, grand old animator Paul Driessen sketches the freely flaring adventures of a cat and dog that each receive an invitation for a romantic rendezvous. The narrative conventions are making merry, too. With the screen split in four panels, numerous variations are possible, while the animals themselves sometimes forget they are cartoon characters with human traits. When they, after a perilous journey, arrive at their destination, things turn out to be different than we thought they were.
