Foreign Minister Maarten Meinema tries to kick his alcohol addiction, but insults a journalist who asks him about it. His PR official Monique wants to set things right, although she is herself chased by an alleged youthful indiscretion.
In the latest season of drama series BuZa, viewers once more get a glimpse behind the scenes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Minister Maarten Meinema (Kees Prins) finally admits he is an alcohol addict and tries to kick the habit. However, a question from a journalist unsettles him and in a moment of rage he lashes out verbally. Can his PR official and political assistant prevent a battle with the press? And can Meinema personally resist the Prime Minister’s pressure to join a highly dangerous peace mission?
