Poetic documentary about the seasonal migration of a herd of sheep from their winter quarters downtown to greener pastures in the mountains.
Documentary tribute to transhumance, a seasonal movement of livestock between fixed summer and winter pastures. In this case a herd of sheep that in wintertime stays in a city park in Madrid and in summer is led to higher grounds. Owing to the camerawork, close to the sheep, viewers get the feeling they travel with the animals. You share their perspectives, interactions, gestures and reactions while they navigate their environment to where the grass is greenest.
