Director Stef Biemans and his father make a journey along the extinct railway tracks of Nicaragua. Since 1993, after a government decision, not a single train runs anymore in this Central American country. All that remains are the former station buildings and the people who used to work for the railway company. They explain which jobs they had, where the trains ran exactly and what the trains looked like. 'Do you really want to know what the train looked like? It was a long hut with windows.' On their nostalgic trip, Biemans and his father, who lives and works in Nicaragua, also meet many people with bizarre stories, like the couple that has been married for sixty-two years and has twenty-two children.
