Australian thriller by Dutch director Rolf de Heer, who emigrated to Australia when he was eight, about a man who on his birthday gets promoted at work. When he gets home, he finds a deserted, darkened house. Assuming that his wife Alexandra and two kids have organised a surprise party, he starts looking for the hidden guests. But all he finds is a videotape with a label that says 'play me'.
