After an attack on their parade, a group of military musicians flees into a forest. To survive, they have to join forces. This turns out to be an impossible task, especially when a new mortar attack puts their relationships on edge.
Extremes are explored in this experimental movie featuring people like actress Ahlaam Teghadouini, jazz musician Benjamin Herman and Flemish actor Johan Heldenbergh. They play members of a military orchestra that flees after a devastating mortar attack on their parade. During their flight, their mutual relationships are put on edge, the more so when the group leaves a wounded comrade for dead in the forest. Director Gabriel Lester made a film about clashing extremes: about the individual versus the collective, about connections and disruptions, and about the contrast between soldier and musician.
