Each of the over a hundred-year-old protagonists of100UPis a strong character brimming with zest and looking back on an eventful life. Shirley Zussman, for example, was born at the onset of World War I, and today she is again worried about the increasingly intransigent world, and Irwin Corey is an actor and an activist who wants most to become the world’s first sit-down comedian. Although death is on their heels, they seem satisfied and not fearful. What can we learn from our over-100s about the world around us?
