Saturday 23 September sees another edition of the NFF Conference. It’s the annual opportunity for the Dutch audiovisual industry to get together, catch up and talk about topical trends, policy moves and professional developments within the sector.

At the NFF Conference we take a closer look at a range of topics in a one-day programme of panels, debates, expert sessions and case studies.

The Conference offers two lines: a film politics route and an inspirational route. Within the film politics route, we’ll be discussing issues such as the recommendations by the Council for Culture, and the policy principles of the State Secretary for Culture and Media for the period 2025-2028. Round table discussions will tackle topics such as fair practice, the labour market and the proposed legislation to oblige video-on-demand services to invest in Dutch productions.

The inspiration route deals with the changing ways we make and in particular what we watch. What are the differences and similarities in the ways film and series are developing, and why are series such a favourite with our audiences? What is the role of showrunners in the Netherlands? We’ll discuss the latest issues and trends.

Order your ticket for the NFF Conference 2023 today and make sure you don’t miss the key event of the year for the Dutch AV industry. Read more about the Conference programme and the various sessions on the dedicated NFF Conference page.
