Wiplala is a ten-centimetre-tall adolescent. Mind you: He is not a gnome, but a Wiplala. From the country of Wiplalas. Because Wiplala is the only one who cannot ‘tinkle’ (work magic) very well, he leaves his country and ends up with the Blom family. When Wiplala in a restaurant accidentally tinkles the entire family - father, son, daughter and cat - down to his own size, Amsterdam is suddenly frighteningly huge. Will Wiplala manage to bring the teeny-weeny lot back home unscathed? This family film full of special effects is based on Annie M.G. Schmidt’s children’s book.
