The world of a newly-wed kitchen seller is turned topsy-turvy when his partner suddenly hits him. If at first this seems a harmless reflex, soon the problem appears to be more structural. Slowly but surely, the man tries to prevent worse in this bitter-comic story by bravely reasoning the decline of his relationship away. Then, his wife buys a huge fish at the market and, having learned by experience, he anticipates the inescapable truth.
