Midas is in love with Sara. When they have a tipsy conversation and she wonders what she would be worth as a prostitute for one night, he bets on two thousand Euros. She says: ‘Deal’. A good transaction, or will it end their friendship?
Midas is an economy student who likes to hang around in bars. Not least because the sensual student Sara works in his favourite haunt. In a drunken fit, after closing time, they discuss the phenomenon of prostitution. ‘What would I be worth for one night?’, Sara wonders teasingly. When she insists, the timid Midas calls a figure; two thousand Euros. To his bewilderment, she says: ‘Deal!’ And Sara means it, too, it turns out. Midas sleeps on it for a night and proceeds to borrow the money from his dominant dad. He tells Sara he will accept her offer. Preferably on a ‘spontaneous’ trip together. They decide to go to Barcelona, using his Air Miles. They agree they will first enjoy the city before taking action, but when push comes to shove, they decide to blow off the deal. But the night isn’t over yet.
