The Talent Badge is the festival badge for new makers: students, recent graduates, and self-taught creators finding their way in the audiovisual industry. With the Talent Badge, you get access to the entire festival programme, from film screenings to the NFF Focus Talks and the Talent Programme. You'll enjoy plenty of networking opportunities. This way, you connect with the people and insights that will further your development as a filmmaker.

By new makers we mean: trained or self-taught, with less than 5 years of work experience in the audiovisual sector. From director to screenwriter, from actor to Director of Photography — every new maker is welcome!

The 46th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival runs from Friday 25 September to Friday 2 October 2026.
