Philippe Garrel

In the early 1970s, Philippe Garrel (France, 1948) made his name with films like La cicatrice intérieure (1970) and Les hautes solitudes (1974). Since then, he has worked on a large and consistent oeuvre, including the prize-winning J'entends plus la guitare (1990).
