Noël Burch

Noël Burch (San Francisco, 1932) is an Amerikan-French filmcritic and filmmaker and part of the intelligentsia of the French New Wave. He published influential books on filmtheorie like Theory of Film Practice To The Distant Observer on Japanese cinema.
