Hans Steinhoff

Hans Steinhoff (1882-1945) was a German director. He started as an actor and variety-director. He made his first feature film in 1921. Embracing national-socialism, he directed the controversial propaganda film Hitlerjunge Quex. Steinhoff was killed when his plane crashed during an escape from Berlin.
