Fatih Akin

Fatih Akin (1973, Germany) studied visual communication in Hamburg. He works as a director, screenwriter and producer. His film Head-On (2004) received a Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and for his film The Edge of Heaven (2007) he received the Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
