In her old age, Schiedam-based hairdresser Lou dreams of a life in Spain. But how about her children and grandchildren? She faces a tough dilemma.

Hairdresser Lou (63) from Schiedam dreams of living in Spain, but she would not be able to care for her children and grandchildren anymore. So initially she limits herself to taking a course in Spanish in the city of Cádiz. But she likes it so much that she plans to open a hairdresser’s salon there. This meets with resistance from her children, who think she is being egocentric. Lou faces a dilemma: Will she choose for herself or her family?
