In the popular youth soap Zoop, a group of young animal keepers had several relational and dramatic adventures in a zoo (shot in Ouwehands Zoo). The soap was followed by two successful films about the same group of rangers. In Africa, the rangers were dispatched to a wildlife park to help threatened species, and in India they went looking for vanished elephants. This time, they go to Argentina to save the extremely rare De Loro butterflies before they crawl from their cocoons and perish in the large-scale forest fires in the South American jungle. Unfortunately, Elise cannot come. She stays behind to take care of a sick coypu. The film follows the proven success formula. The rangers soon decide to split the group up, in no time they experience all sorts of exciting adventures and endure ordeals, there is a budding relationship, and finally they manage to save the butterflies at the eleventh hour. Within a week after its release, the film attracted over a hundred thousand visitors and was therefore awarded as a Golden Film.
