Twenty-somethings Joël and Siebe make a joint trip to their family lodge in the Ardennes, shortly after Siebe survives a suicide attempt. They never discussed this. With flippancy and bravura, Joël tries to show his brother how beautiful life can be, but Siebe keeps silently struggling with depression. Joël has a growing fear of losing his brother – a fear that pushes him towards a brutal confrontation. An intimate debut film about two brothers who despite their differences learn what it means to truly connect with each other.
