Tykwer's second film is a thriller in which four people in their thirties come together in a house belonging to one of them in the mountains. During their stay in the house, a girl is killed in a car crash in the snowy mountain landscape. Her father goes out desperately searching for the person responsible for his daughter's death. An impressive film thanks to its style in wide-screen Cinemascope format.
