Experimental film made with material shot of performances.
Whirlwind was made with material shot during the preparation for and performance of several light, sound and projection performances by the London collective Loophole Cinema and the Dutch artist Karel Doing. Using stop-motion techniques, long shutter times and opticals, these shows are manipulated and intensified.
